The CEECS is a postgraduate course at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. It is accredited by the CONEAU with category B (CONEAU Resolution No: 93-E of October 11, 2016). Its main goal is to strengthen the statistical training of clinical and biomedical researchers, thus contributing to increase the quality of research in the area. The students are professionals from medicine, biology and all related science fields.

Specialists in Statistics for Health Sciences are qualified to hold positions as researchers or technicians in academic institutions, in research centers, in the pharmaceutical industry or in health institutions. They get competence in the design of studies, data management and data analysis and will be trained to interact with statisticians. In all the subjects, a statistical program and programming language called R is used. This powerful tool gives our graduates an additional advantage.
