Research Group on Mathematical Modeling, Dynamics and Control

MMDC

We are a research group working on mathematical modeling, dynamical systems, and control, combining theoretical analysis, computational methods, and applications. Our research focuses on differential equation models arising in epidemiology, population dynamics, nonlinear optics, and other areas of the life and physical sciences.

The group brings together researchers working on ordinary and partial differential equations, optimal control, and numerical methods, fostering interactions between mathematical theory, computation, and real-world problems. Our research also involves interdisciplinary collaborations with scientists from the natural and health sciences, particularly physicists, biologists, and medical researchers, promoting the development of mathematical models and methods motivated by problems arising in these fields.
